The first few days I had this, it sat on my nightstand and I read it like a romance novel. Finally, after 4-5 days, I've started cooking. There are some recipes that will seem familiar if you've followed Chungah on social media but still loaded with a bunch of new dishes so it doesn't appear to copy the site exactly. Although I consider myself a foodie and I love cooking, I'm a working mom so I don't have more than 30-45 minutes to devote to weeknight cooking. This book is perfect for me! I appreciate the pictures of each recipe and the notes are helpful, too.I'm beyond pleased with my purchase of this cookbook.
I tend to buy too many cookbooks. I enjoy reading them and looking at them as much as I enjoy making the recipes. This cookbook is one that I actually use and take inspiration from.I like that none of the recipes are too complicated. There are very few ingredients that are not at the store closest to our house. There is a big variety of recipes to try. The directions are clear and the pictures are beautifulThere are a couple of recipes that I consider overly basic - the types of things that I might make without a recipe. But I have been cooking for a long time and tend to experiment, so others may not feel that way.Overall, I think this is a great addition to my cookbook collection and definitely one that my busy family uses and enjoys.
I don't like most recipe books that claim they are easy and tasty. The products are usually ones I don't have on hand or know how to make. This book is different. First the name is fantastic! The recipes are easy and the food is things I have in my cabinets. I have shared recipes and this book with my friends. I will continue to watch for more from this author and chef in the future.
Chungah's recipes are great! Simple and yet tasty. I've followed her for about 3 or 4 years and was very happy to see her cookbook. It takes me longer than she estimates, but it's worth it. She has really become successful, which speaks loudly about her creativity.
I have tried a half dozen recipes and all have been winners. I especially appreciate the nutritional information provided with each recipe.
I have enjoyed the blog for a long time which is why I decided to buy the cookbook. The cookbook is great! Simple, easy to make dishes using ingredients you probably have on hand. The pictures are great! I love seeing what the dish looks like. The picture alone makes me want it right now!I think every cook would enjoy this cookbook.
Everything this woman has ever made is delicious. My fiance has been making her recipes for a long time. I'm glad she got a book out. We've been big fans of her blog. Plus those little Corgi dogs are so cute.
I purchased this cookbook because I'm such a fan of the website. It's beautifully done with great recipes and photos. My only issue is why include recipes in the book that are already on the website
