As the saga continues, it is interesting to see the growth and maturity in the characters. Clara's powers continue to manifest as more challenges and trials are faced in this non-stop adventure. She has no inkling to how powerful she really has become as she does not have to rely on spells any more. Full of surprises and suspense - the story is full of action, thrills and dangerous adventures. The exceptional storyline, the detailed descriptions and vivid scenes fully immerses the reader in this tale of magic making the book very difficult to put down. Another great book by Lucia Ashta. Highly Recommended.Gifted with a copy for an honest review.
Loved it! Lucia's books always give me a break from my spiritual readings but they also teach me things as well. This was no exception. I love how she weaves the storyline in with priceless tidbits that can be used in today's world... the main theme continues throughout the series ... Love is all there is! The only downside ... I read them too fast and always am left wanting the next book to be here now! Thanks Lucia, for giving my "sponge-of-a-mind" something to enjoy as I enjoy a breather from my spiritual books.
I'm eagerly waiting to read the next book. I feel like I can't wait till I do I love reading about Clara abilities.

He cares not home he hurts or kills. Everything is means to an end.The courage of grand mere Clara Marcelo, Mordecai, brave and we can’t forget Gertrude is amazing. One adventure after another one evil fight after another. Yet they are forge forward knowing their dutyI can’t say more as it would give away the story but know this I’ve read everyone so far and they get better one after another after another I can’t wait to read the next!
When Lucia's hot, she's sizzling. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Every story I've read of that Lucia's written I've love her creative bent. I truly believe she pours her heart and soul in each piece. She totally rocks this read just like the others. Her creative talents along with her imagination and insight are limitless and hold. Her characters are so realistic and believable she brings them alive before our eyes. Their personalities are spot on with human characteristics that will blow your mind and leave you breathless. Her descriptions are graphic to give you a full understanding and realism that seems to breathe with life. As always Lucia did an incredible job bringing this read together beautifully. LucÃa Ashta is increasingly my go-to author for modern fantasy and her The Witching World series is a perfect example of why this is so. It’s full of the non-stop adventure, thrills and action that I love and it’s characters are superbly crafted - especially Clara, who is becoming more and more the ideal kick-a** heroine that I adore as her powers continue to grow and we get more and more of a sense of just how powerful she’s destined to be. In The Scarlet Dragon (book 5 of the series) we return to the author’s wonderful world of “ moody magicians, mythical creatures with attitude, and castles with personalityâ€, taking off from where the gang left off at book 4. There’s loads of fun to come, as those after Clara get increasingly strong and complex themselves ... and surprises are sure to come (though I’m not going to spoil things).Utterly fantastic, I highly recommend this book and it’s series - though with one caveat: you really do need to start at book 1 here. So go ahead. You’ll definitely enjoy the ride.
What can I say about this book? Lucia Ashta has a way with words, and she totally immerses you in her magical worlds. I am always in awe of how she makes me feel when I read her books. That must be why she is one of my absolute favorite authors! The imagery in her words, the magical worlds and situations she creates...wow. Her books are unlike any I've read, and I just want more. Her characters may be magical but they are also so human in how they love and feel for each other. Their loyalty and devotion is fierce. When you go through their dangerous adventures you really go through them with them. The author seems to put the reader right into the minds of the characters. When I got to the last page all I could do was sit there..in awe. I am so ready for the next book! Do I recommend this book to you? Heck yes! I recommend everything she writes! Her books are amazing!
Fantastic read and series. This series just keeps getting better. This is a fast paced read. With plenty of action. The characters are brought out so well that you feel you are right there with them. Clara and her family face more dangers in this one, and prepare for more battles with there magic. It has twists and turns that surprises you. And it has a fantastic design for the cover.
